All of the Universal Hotels do offer early entry, meaning you can get to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter faster. With the exception of the two newest hotels, all of the Universal Orlando hotels are on-site hotels. this also means these themed hotels are closer to Universal CityWalk as well. Many of them include a free water taxi to take you to the parks.

The premiere hotels do offer a way to skip the regular lines with the Express Pass included as one of the exclusive theme park benefits.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel

A premier hotel full of luxury, Portofino will let you travel to Italy with all the Italian ambiance. The food and the decor will transport you across the pond and you will feel just like you are walking through the streets of Italy and dining with all the best Italian cuisine. There is memorabilia everywhere and rock music plays in all the public areas. The pool area is incredibly unique in that it is shaped like a guitar and you can hear the music playing under the water! With a dedicated path to Volcano Bay, it’s a perfect place to stay if you’re planning your waterpark visit.

Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Perhaps the most creatively themed Universal resort, at Caban Bay, you step into a time machine leading back to the 1950s. With retro-style and vibrant designs, we have found this to be the most family-friendly of the resorts. The downside is there are no express passes.
